Having my work experience at We''re All About Marketing was a very informative & educational experience.

The tasks I was given were spread into several section of marketing support. So I got an insight in a lot of different jobs related to the marketing industry. I improved my skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point and learned working with Adobe Illustrator.

As my future plans are mostly directed to event management, the WAAM team gave me a lot of things to work in this section. At WAAM I also discovered my passion for graphic and web design. I got to update the WAAM website, review clients' websites and got a much better understanding & knowledge of website development.

I obtained insight of how to structure marketing & business plans. I also did market research and competitor analysis and learned how to use the results to improve a business. My tasks also included creating proposals, prepare mail-outs, internet research, photography, preparing briefs & templates, business development and so much more.

I assisted the Account Manager in some Client Meetings & went to very interesting seminars and other networking events. Everyone took time to explain to me difficult aspects in detail & I was welcome to ask everything and discuss any problems.

Susanna & the whole WAAM team treated me like I was a colleague working for WAAM for years. My ideas and opinion about projects and jobs were taken very seriously. I got my own projects I could work on and finalise them mostly on my own. I got a detailed insight in business life, worked with a friendly team and learned a lot for myself and my future in Marketing. The time at WAAM definitely influenced me about my professional way.
