A little bit about Susanna...

Q  How did you become an entrepreneur?
A  I have loved marketing ever since I can remember. Started WAAM in May 2000 and I have not looked back ever since.
I have been fortunate enough to have a great balance of both a solid background in education, university achievements and work experience. I suppose this is what set me on the course to become the entrepreneur I am today.

Q  What does your typical day involve?
A  This could include meetings with clients, keeping in touch with my staff, managing my own personal business ventures, overseeing all the projects, mentoring and training for my marketing school students, public speaking, checking in on the creative team & helping wherever need, checking in on marketing team to ensure all being implemented, checking in on production team to ensure that all is being implemented, somewhere in my day also have to find some time for brainstorming :)  Love the adrenalyn that my busy marketing days bring into my life! 

Q  What do you love doing the most?
A I love everything marketing & online! I am currently managing WAAM & Web Embrace (sister company). I also organise events and festivals annually, to date which included Fashion Forward Festival in 2010, Zouk Mega Party in 2011 and now preparing for a big event called All About Dance in 2013!

Q  Tell us a bit about your Public Speaking engagements?
A  I am really passionate about this as I absolutely believe in sharing my knowledge with the up and comers. I have done public speaking engagements for CeBIT Australia, Department of State & Regional Australia, Australian Computer Society and Business Enterprise Centres. I really enjoy this! 

Q What enables you to reach your goals?
A  Continually learning, relationship building and networking skills combined with the tenacity and drive to succeed is what really helps me to go for it.

A  It’s a great honour and a privilege for me to be recognised by the industry for my work. I feel very grateful for this recognition!
